Whatever we’re here to do, it comes and finds us. If we don’t hear it the first or fifth time it keeps knocking—and sometimes gets very persistent!
All of the times I should have started strings: 8, 10, 14, 21, 25. Once a stranger handed me a cello to jam and it was one of the top five most joyful experiences I had that decade. When I finally relented I thought I was picking up a hobby but each year it asks/demands more of me, and I gladly say YES.
So I’m out here doing the next right thing, and the next right thing, and the next. And trusting that will continue leading me to the fullest version of myself and all the delight along the way.
