Gadzooks! This world has so many surprises. I love children’s books as a medium that’s allowed this magical seeing we tend to beat out of adults. Maybe I have had a lifelong friendship with this wooly bear caterpillar. Maybe my cousin’s cat is the protagonist (and my cousin is along for a trip to Jordan). Play is a place we thought we knew and surprising ourselves with who we are now and who we could be.
