It’s hard to think of a social or political problem we face that doesn’t stem from disconnection—with our neighbors, with the natural world, in ourselves. If we’re looking way upstream, if we’re looking to really get to the root of it, we’re asking how to reconnect with our selves and our bodies, with the land, with the people we see every day and the people we don’t. And how do we make that feel good!

The good news is there’s no universal, central solution. It’s just us—all of us. A bunch of mom and pop diner counters, skate parks, and good people doing the play together.

CATS of North Adams is a community crochet project to immortalize little lions in our homes in a city-wide afghan. Planning to launch the winter of 2026/27. Looking for other groups/volunteers that want to host popups or ongoing drop in spaces to crochet.

POSTCARD ART LOVE  
outreach / logistics

Planning for the summer 2027, popup postcard art stations (and mailing list signups) for community members to make and send art to anyone who signs up. Art is for everyone, and by everyone! Again looking for other groups/volunteers that want to host popups or ongoing drop in spaces.
